This a book about piracy,secrecy and betrayal.It all starts with Edward Kenway as a simple sheep farmer in bristol England.His daily trips into town to sell wool and lambs usually end up at the tavern drowning himself in rum.But one time he saw Seth cobleigh and Tom cobleigh (father and son) getting a pretty girl very drunk so they can sleep with her.Edward decides to intervene with this and walks after Seth and Tom yelling at them to let the lady go.They turn around and tell you to bugger off before they give Edward a beating.Edward ignoring the threats he decides to throw the first punch,hitting Tom right in the jaw knocking him to the ground.but before Edward could turn and face Seth.Seth punched Edward in the ribs knocking him to the ground.
